My Story / Mi Historia
Dio Aldridge, pronouns he/él, is a Blatinx Trans man born in Limon, Costa Rica and raised in Southern California. Growing up in the household of a Baptist minister and Social Worker proved to be formative in shaping his passion and work in community building, engagement, education, art and poetry.
Dio currently serves as the Special Assistant to the Dean and Provost for Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion at the School of Art Institute of Chicago and is also actively engaged in community organizing as 1 of 3 Co-Director's Salus Center the only LGBTQIA+ Center in Lansing, Michigan.
Dio also needs a nap....at this very moment.
